Founded by Derek Timm and Lynne Timm, our journey began with a vision to revolutionise the medical industry through innovative solutions and commitment to pressure sore wound care.

Pressure care is our passion, we are proud to say we have helped thousands of people, both young and old and we continue to work with some of the most respected specialists and companies in the business offering solutions to complicated cases where others give up.

Who Are We?

Derek’s journey into the medical field started with a passion for medical solutions. He has worked with some renowned institutions like G.D. Searle and Spembly Medical Systems, Derek’s expertise spans across various medical domains, from cryosurgical equipment to orthopaedic implants, including pressure sore wound care. He co-founded Dan Medica South, with the sole aim of improving patient outcomes and enhancing healthcare standards.

Lynne’s experience has also played a huge role in changing the healthcare industry.   She was the founder of Silvalea Ltd, a company specialising in lifting and handling solutions. She has a great understanding of medical needs and wants to see patient care improve. Together with Derek, she brings a wealth of experience in pressure care products and rehabilitation, including expertise in pressure sore wound care, helping to build Dan Medica South to become a company dedicated to innovation and patient led solutions.
