Hi Derek,
Our colleague's father's health recently deteriorated quite drastically, and he has been bedbound and started to develop some pressure sores. We passed them the Treat Eezi mattress to use, and shortly after, the sores disappeared and have not come back. So we are very thankful that we've come across your company and that we are able to sell Treat Eezi.

Dear Derek,
As promised, I'm writing to you to give you an idea how I have fared with your product.
I was given an air inflated mattress from my district nurse as I am suffering from MND and my skin was starting to go pink. The first time I used it my wife had to sleep on the sofa and I could not get any sleep because of constantly moving and the noise of the electric pump, it felt so uncomfortable. I started researching more friendly alternatives on the internet and thankfully found the Treat Eezi products.
I read a few testimonials from other customers and discovered how easy your product healed some nasty looking wounds. Because I had many questions, I phoned and you were very kind and explained things in an easy manner which I could fully understand.
I have now been using the full length version for 3 weeks now and can not only sleep well but my wife can sleep with me also, the redness has disappeared and I have no fear of pressure sores, thanks to using the product each evening. I was initially sceptical as the overlay appeared very thin but soon realized when I laid on it, it very slightly moved with me, stopping any dragging of my skin and kept my skin dry.
I wanted to say thanks Derek, I'm grateful for your product and I have already recommended Treat Eezi to my district nurse. Please feel free to place this testimonial on your site for others to read.
Yours, Steve Gibson, London

Hi
I have been keeping a spreadsheet on the use of Treat-Eezi.
I believe it to be a realistic and honest reflection of what we would have spent without Treat-Eezi
There needs to be a bigger uptake now though but it’s still easier to order air than a Treat Eezi (the problem with managing the rollout so tightly!), I might have to make air alternating more difficult to order and make it easier to do Treat-Eezi!
I have asked for clinician feedback, but as you would expect heard nothing back!!
But no-one has complained!
And I have heard conversationally about healing that has happened and clients with strong opinions (is that diplomatic enough?!) being happy.
I have had one failed attempt as the seat pad slipped off the chair, even with a mattress fully tucked in we couldn’t resolve it. But that was due to a telecare seat pressure sensor, and when that is replaced with an infra-red sensor the problem will be solved and a seat pad will work.
The key thing is to only make it available against the more expensive options in normal use, in our case alternating air and special order chairs with pressure care.
If a foam will work they can’t have Treat Eezi!! Unless they can evidence that foam is failing and need it for other reasons, eg a client wouldn’t comply with the foam but was happy to sit on Treat Eezi
Currently, all orders come via me so I can ensure we are gaining the benefits. A free for all would offer us much less of a saving as people like these, and I know they would be used instead of items at half the price that would have done the job. Especially as our cushions start from £14!!
I need to embed the behaviours before loosening my grip. Once I am doing more of these than air alternating then I will …………….. run out of hours in the day!!!; but then look at pushing authorisation back to team leads. Without scrutiny we could very easily end up in an “all roads lead to Treat-Eezi” situation!! And not see the benefit on cost.
We delivered 549 (£293,180) worth of dynamic air mattresses alone in the 2018, we save £311.63 every time we send a Treat-Eezi instead. So if we only replace half that’s an £85, 476.55 saving a year. And I am more optimistic than that! Which I am sure is nothing compared to a London store!
Not to mention not having to do testing and maintenance on them so saving on those activities too.
Happy to speak to people, if you want to pass on my details
Thanks

Good morning
My mother, now 98 yrs old, has used your seat pads for about 4 years and had no problems at all. They have been excellent- she was unable to stand from her chair alone and then became almost immobile in the chair really not moving much at all until assisted. However, she is now bed bound and has developed heel sores.
She is on an airflow mattress and is seen regularly and frequently by the district nurses.
Do you have any products that are specifically for heel sores or would a full-length bed pad be the solution? Is there any more information available that I could use to persuade the DN’s to use the pressure pads. At the moment they are flatly refusing despite the fact that mums heels are not improving.
My mum’s name is Muriel xxxxxxxxxxxx, I am Sally xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you need to check your records for our previous purchases
I look forward to your reply.
Kind regards
Sally

“As a Paralympic hand-cyclist I spend hours in the saddle training, and in my spare time enjoy long bike adventures in some extreme conditions. Being paraplegic and without sensation from the chest down, I am always looking for innovative products to prevent pressure sores. The Treat-Eezi pad has provided me with comfort and pressure relief for my bony parts whilst cycling, and is light, washable and has good anti-shearing properties.”

Good Morning,
“We have used the Treat-Eezi Pressure Care Overlay in our nursing home for at least 3 months. We have found it to be highly effective in providing pressure relief with the added benefit of no noisy pump and no need for a contingency plan should we have a power cut. Having trialled and carefully monitored this product we now feel confident in purchasing more, as and when we need to replace the old airflow units.” Park View Nursing Home.

Hi Lyn,
Following our phone chat, I thought I'd do this straight away because there might be so many people like me really struggling with 'bottom' problems & not knowing what to do for the best. My background is I'm 67 & have had problems since I was 25 following a cycling accident where I was hit from behind which displaced my coccyx & fractured the lower part of my pelvis (right side). I also inherited very pointy sitting bones from my father plus being extremely skinny.
Quite recently I became aware that on top of the chronic discomfort I was getting very rough areas of skin where my sitting bones connect with my non-existent buttocks. I did try using a moisturiser but when that didn't work I realised there was a real danger of my developing pressure sores. That was when I 'Googled' & came across the Treat-Eezi seat pad. I decided to ring first & spoke to Derek who was extremely helpful & sympathetic. I was reassured enough to feel the seat pad was well worth trying.
It arrived promptly & was exactly as described. VERY THIN. So much so I did have my doubts but within less than a week the hard skin areas have gone. I am sleeping better as I put it under my hips at night. I'm sitting more comfortably as I have it on top of a cushion on my 'working' chair as well as my recliner for evenings slobbing in front of the TV. I don't know if this is encouraging enough to convince 'consultants' to recommend patients try this? Maybe they have to have experience of these sorts of problems themselves? I don't know but if this encourages one person to give one of your products a go & they find the relief I have then the time doing this has been more than worthwhile! I'd really like more people to know how incredibly helpful this product is & what a difference it's made to my life already.
Thank you. With very best wishes,
S. Francis.

Dear Lynne, I’d like to pass on my experience with the Treat Eezi pad. It’s a bit convoluted so thanks in advance for taking the time to read on!
I purchased 2 pads (to wash and use) originally for my Mother who had suffered a stroke and had been in hospital for several weeks. I’d searched on line intending to buy an air mattress but found that the high cost of this type of equipment was way out of my reach. Upon searching further, I found the Treat Eezi web site and considered that this lower cost option was worth a try.
However, when My Mother returned home a hospital bed was supplied along with air mattress equipment, (the type she had been using in the hospital), meaning that she never used the Treat Eezi pads. It’s worth mentioning that upon discharge from hospital my Mother had pressure sores on her heals which were treated at home by a District Nurse. These sores only developed while my Mother was in hospital and made the last few months of her life more painful than they needed to be.
In the meantime, my Father, a dementia sufferer, was spending an increasing amount of time in bed and had also developed a pressure sore at the top of his buttock area. I was trying to treat this with Conotrane and Germolene. I used both the Treat Eezi pads on my Father’s bed to cover the whole area. I was not confident that the pads would work as the instructions recommended lying directly on the pad without clothing, which was not practical in my Father’s case. After using the pads for 3 weeks the pressure sore healed beautifully and only a dark patch of skin was visible. The Treat Eezi pad has remained in use for the last 9 months until now with my Father spending between 21 to 23 hours in bed each day with no sign whatsoever of any further pressure sores developing anywhere on his body.
I think I take it for granted now that my Father does not suffer from pressure sores but know this can only be due to the Treat Eezi pads. Considering the large amount of time he spends in bed, his physical health could be much worse by now. Personally, as my Father’s carer, the absence of pressure sores has also made my job more bearable.
The only negative point is that the pads would be better if they covered the entire mattress and not just a small area. That said, I would encourage anyone to try the pads as I believe they have made a big difference in my Father’s care and well-being.
Thank you and best regards
Wendy Jones

simple pressure-relieving device Review by Onya Smithson
“ My father is in a care home and bedridden, this has been invaluable for keeping him comfortable. The staff at the home rave about how effective it is and I feel it has made a great difference to him in this painful and uncomfortable situation. Dad mainly used to get pressure sores at the base of his spine and has on one occasion had them on his heels too. This is a simple pressure-relieving device and it has worked well and I would recommend to others in this situation.

Easy to use and effective Review by sf99999
Purchased for my Mum who is not mobile and had started to develop a bedsore – first night bruising had gone down significantly ( and from purple to green), by third-night skin had recovered and healed. She now uses a day ( on her chair) and night.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for supplying the Treat Eezi product so quickly, Mum was in urgent need of this as the alternating air bed was just keeping her awake at night and not helping her pain or sores. I just cant believe our local District Nurses/Tissue Nurses are so blinkered to new technology, as they hadn’t heard of your new product it was just immediately dismissed – of course they know better (NOT!). After seeing how Mums sore healed so quickly when using your product you would have expected an apology – no, just a grunt. Keep up the good work, you have helped my worries and my Mums pain and sores, cant thank you enough!

Hi Derek,
Just to let you know that we are currently trialing the Treat-Eezi at the moment. We loaned it to a family in the community whilst Christopher’s was closed for its refurbishment and it has been really successful. The child was beginning to mark and since using the Treat-Eezi they have virtually gone. Mum is really pleased with it.
I fed back to our manager and she is going to place orders.
Have a lovely Christmas.

I recently purchased a four-ply “Treat-eezi” pad for use. I did so with the hope that it would not only help with pressure sores forming, but also relieve the itchy skin which is a sign of the skin in affected areas becoming vulnerable to such pressure sores. On the very first night this pad provided the first nights itch-free sleep in weeks. It also helps when used in a chair while sitting. I am amazed that this product is so effected. Had I known about its benefits, I would have ordered it when my family member first became restricted in her mobility. Even better, it is easily portable from place to place and washable. I fully and enthusiastically endorse this wonderful product!

After being involved in a court case where a Patient had been neglected by a care home which resulted in severe grade 4 pressure sores we were involved in transporting the patient from one care homes to another in Hampshire, we found the treat eezi pressure sore mattress was comfortable for the patient and also ensured the patient's pressure sores were not irritated or made worse during this one hour transfer.
At a later date, our company attended a court hearing to explain that we were not liable towards any further tissue damage to which we presented both the Treat Eezi Mattress and the mattress specification document which both the judge and jury were happy we had no part to play in the patients worsening condition of osteomyelitis and severe pressure sores and had taken the relevant moving and handling precautions plus using a pressure sore relieving mattress and we were acquitted from court, We are glad we used a pressure sore relieving mattress rather than just a standard branded ambulance mattress which could have made the pressure sores a lot worse”
